What is ISO 50001?
ISO 50001 is a worldwide recognised standard developed to establish a process that delivers improvements to energy efficiency for all types of organisations irrespective of geographical location, size and type. It promotes implementation on the grounds of commitment from all levels and functions of an organisation from top management down, based upon the plan, do, check and act model.
ISO 50001 Experience
EPV has worked for a number of public and private sector organisations as a consultant delivering programmes to assist in meeting the objectives of the ISO 50001 (and the previous superseded BS EN 16001:2009 standard).
We have also been commissioned by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) as an independent technical expert assisting with the ISO 50001 energy management standard accreditation of certification bodies in accordance with ISO 17021.
